Wine Club Terms and Conditions

• Rising Star Vineyards Wine Club VIP and Regular memberships require the submission of a valid credit card for use in charging purchases and wine shipments to the member. This credit card information will be maintained in secure physical storage by Rising Star Vineyards and will not be used for any other purpose.
• Club memberships represent a specific intent to purchase wine from Rising Star Vineyards. If members refuse selections, cancel credit cards or protest charges, the membership may be cancelled at the winery’s discretion.
• Club memberships may be purchased at any time for a specific period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Unless cancelled by the member, these memberships will be automatically renewed and membership fees will be charged to the credit card on file in the month of expiration. These memberships may be cancelled at any time but membership fees are not refunded under any circumstances.
• Each club member will designate their default selection for the periodic purchases of wine and their default method for receiving the wine (shipment or winery pickup). In each distribution period (monthly or quarterly), the member may specify their selection and distribution method prior to the published distribution date for that period or their default selections will be used.
• Pricing for premium and standard selections are protected from increase for 12 months from the inception of the membership, but may be subject to increase upon membership renewal. Any such planned increases will be published to the member and the member may, upon renewal, change their default selection.
• Shipping fees are set by the carrier (Federal Express at present) and are not subject to markup by Rising Star Vineyards. The cost of shipping materials required by the shipper may vary based on market conditions.
• Wine shipments are governed by federal and state laws and changes to those laws could disallow wine shipments to a member address. Should such a change affect a member and winery pickup is not practical or convenient, the membership will be cancelled at the member’s discretion.
